Welcome to Swimming Class UK! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website Swimming Class dot co dot uk and our services, including swimming lessons, coaching, and other related activities. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Fees and Payment

  • Lesson fees vary for group lessons, private lessons (1:1 or 1:2), and location. For specific details, please contact us at +44 7354 859733 or hello@swimmingclass.co.uk

  • All fees must be paid in full 48 hours before the start of a course.

  • We accept payment by debit/credit card, bank transfer, and (for returning students) Direct Debit.

  • Direct Debit payments: Once enrolled, you will receive an email invoice before each re-enrolment period. You will have multiple opportunities to confirm or cancel the Direct Debit before it is processed.

  • Returned payments will incur a £20.00 administration fee.

  • All invoices will incur a £2.5 processing fee.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Weekly Courses: You may cancel before your first lesson with a full refund. After the first lesson, a 10% administration charge will be deducted from any refund. No refunds will be issued for missed lessons after the first class.

  • Crash Courses: Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for crash courses.

  • Lessons/coaching: Under 48 hours notice, 50% charge. Under 24 hours notice 100% charge.

  • To cancel any course, please contact us in writing at hello@swimmingclass.co.uk.

3. Medical Conditions and Individual Needs

  • You must disclose any medical conditions or individual needs of the swimmer to us before registration.

  • We will make reasonable accommodations to meet individual needs, but we cannot guarantee specific arrangements.

4. Valuables and Personal Belongings

  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings. Please leave valuables at home.

5. Attendance and Behaviour

  • Swimmers must arrive poolside no more than 5 minutes before their lesson and be collected promptly after.

  • Responsible adults must remain on-site during lessons for children under 16.

  • Respectful behavior is expected from all swimmers, parents, guardians, and staff. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the pool and termination of lessons.

6. Teachers and Consistency

  • We strive to maintain consistency in teachers, but cannot guarantee it for every term.

  • All our teachers are qualified by the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) or the Swimming Teachers' Association (STA).

7. Pool Premises and Liability

  • We maintain the pool premises to a reasonable standard, but cannot accept liability for injuries caused by defects. Any concerns should be reported to the pool owners.

  • We are not responsible for infections contracted during lessons.

8. Rules and Regulations

  • Please follow all pool rules, including showering before entering the pool, wearing appropriate swimwear, and refraining from food, drink, smoking, and photography.

9. Termination

  • We reserve the right to terminate lessons for non-payment, disruptive behavior, or any violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
